Order a LIM or property file

LIM and Property File Non Working Day Information

Friday, 20 December 2024 to Friday, 10 January 2025 are considered as non working days through legislation under the Local Government Official Meetings Act 1987 and will therefore impact the delivery of LIM reports during this period. If you need a LIM report prior to the shutdown period please apply by Thursday, 5 December 2024 for a 10-day residential or commercial LIM and by Thursday, 12 December 2024 for a 5-day residential LIM. Processing of LIM applications received during the shutdown period will officially start from Monday, 13 January 2025.

Property Files will not be processed between Friday, 27 December 2024 and Friday, 3 January 2025 inclusive. Day 1 for any Property File application received between these dates will be Monday, 6 January 2025. If you require a Property File before the shutdown period please apply by Thursday 19 December to guarantee issue before the break.

  • the property address
  • a Visa/Mastercard credit or debit card or your internet banking details (POLi)

If you have internet banking you can use POLi to safely and securely pay straight from your bank account. There is no surcharge for this. Learn more about POLi

If paying by debit or credit card a surcharge of 1.3% is payable on this transaction. This is charged by Council to recover the amount charged by credit card companies to process the payment.

Please note: LIM reports are available for vacant land (sections) but property files are not. There is other important information available for vacant land e.g. geotechnical reports, information on services etc. Property files are unable to be opened on mobile phones, tablets or iPads.

How to use the property search fields

Street address - just enter the number, letter and name of the street and select from the drop-down menu (don't enter the word "road", "street", etc) e.g. 91 WILLOW not 91 WILLOW STREET.

Road - enter the name of the road only e.g. WILLOW not WILLOW STREET.

Valuation Number – enter the valuation number with no spaces.

Legal Description - enter DPS number and lot number into the required fields.
